World Championship 2024/2025 - deciding second proper season
In just 4 days the World Championship 🏆 (19th April) of the 2024/2025 season starts! Come 5th of May the winner of the second proper season of Fantasy Snooker will be decided! His or hers name (and the others in the top 3) will be forever etched into the Hall of Fame.
Don't forget to build your lineup ⭐ in time, preferably after the qualifiers has finished playing. It's the last chance of the season to earn valuable points and can see you sky-rocket up the rankings! As the Worlds is a S-tier event you'll earn 125% more points than normal!

I wish I could've said this season has been a tight race, but truth behold, our current leader Up The Ives (Mitch) has maintained the lead since the British Open (September 2024)! Will he secure the W or see victory snatched away at the finish line? Whatever you're playing for, whether for winning the league, beating your friends or rooting for your favorites, we are sure the Crucible will deliver in excitement and sporting drama of the highest order!
Here is the current top 10:

Current Fantasy Snooker status:
- We're aware of an issue with receiving e-mails when using a Microsoft e-mail provider like Hotmail and Outlook. This is due to the IP of our email service being temporarily blocked. We are approaching the problem from several angles:
- ✅ Email change functionality: so that you can change to a non-Microsoft email without having to create a new user. We recommend signing in with Google or GitHub for the most fluent and user-friendly experience.
- Give more detailed information to the user when experiencing such problems
- Support more login providers like X and Bluesky
- We consider changing our e-mail provider (although this is a bigger decision)
- We have experienced issues with icons. We have solved the issue for now but will work on a permanent solution which is not reliant on third party dependencies, or find a solution with sufficient fallback mechanisms.
Updates since last post:
Here are some key updates since the last post from the 31st of December 2024:

- fixed wrong original value when reverting players
- X/Twitter feed on frontpage and support page
- improved caching
Wrapping up
First of all, I hope you enjoy the World Championship (and the Easter holidays)! Let's hope for big breaks and nail-biting deciders!
Although it may seem this game isn't updated often, we are working on it and striving to give you a better experience. Please don't hesitate to contact us either via our socials or support page if you have feedback, either good or bad.
