The World Championship 2024/2025 was another record-breaking year and for the first time ever we saw an amateur and an Asian lift the Worlds trophy. Massive congratulations to Zhao Xintong 🏆! He beat Mark Williams 18-12 in the final.

Mitch is the first consecutive winner

We congratulate Mitch on winning the third ever season of Fantasy Snooker and his second in a row! He showed the world that his first win was not a fluke and that his prediction skills are unmatched! His team Up The Ives impressively held the lead since September 2024 all the way until the end of the season. At the Worlds his team consisted of Mark Selby (Captain), Judd Trump, Neil Robertson, Wu Yize and Kyren Wilson and they managed to seal the deal despite underwhelming placements (except Judd's semifinal run).

Runner-up Promising Team (Fatih Olcay) and third play finisher Snooker 365 (Glen Mathews) made a good fight out of it and they'll join him on the podium in the hall of fame.

Who knows what next season will bring? Will Mitch make it a three-peat or will one of his challengers step up and end his reign?

Recent features and what we're working on

Since the last post we have:

• Calendar per season: you can now review previous seasons and look at earned points per tournament.
• Better information regarding email login issues using Microsoft email provider
• Hall of fame: podium for leagues
• Hall of fame: sparkles!
• Fixed issue regarding missing league information in notifications when deleting league
• Technically we have added end-to-end tests for better quality assurance

In preparation for next season we'll keep making improvements and try to push out new features, however the most pressing thing is making sure Xintong costs more than £0m!
