The World Championship 2025/2026 was special in many ways. Rising Chinese star Wu Yize become a first-time World Champion in dramatic fashion by winning both the semifinal and final in a decider. 🏆

But we had our fair share of drama off the table as well, more specifically in Fantasy Snooker, as The Kratta Kritas (Kratta Krita) and snooker I hardly knew'er (crazyal) were battling fiercly for the #1 spot 🥇! In fact, only 27 points ended up separating the two - and already before the semifinals had begun the math was clear. snooker I hardly knew'er, who had Wu Yize and John Higgins remaining in their lineup, needed 2 results to go their way to nick the win. John Higgins lost in a close match against Shaun, but as we know, Wu Yize went on the win both of his matches and simultaneously secured the win for crazyal.

The Worlds

It was a hard blow to pre-favorite Kratta Krita who led the rankings in the majority of the season (albeit with strong competition from fellow players). We hope Kratta does not dwell too long and harshly on the final outcome, but is proud of their consistent performance and journey throughout the season 🙌. They contributed to and in large shaped the season from start to finish and gave us a brilliant crescendo to end the season. Don't hang your head mate, you were brilliant throughout and just happened to be unlucky at a bad time.

We also commend crazyal for completing the comeback win and never giving up! It's never over before it's over and this is true in sports, life and in Fantasy Snooker! Well done mate on winning the fourth season of Fantasy Snooker, you earned it! 👏
